Cotton, Cattle, and Gardening

Cotton was the original cash crop and continued to be until the early 1970's.

Corn was grown both for livestock feed and to produce corn meal.

Cattle in various numbers have been raised on the farm since its inception.

Of course, there has always been a garden to provide fresh, canned, and later, frozen vegetables.
